Jurister prøver å hjelpe homoaktivisten i Uganda

Fikk følgende mail fra Sylvia Tamale, professor og dekanus ved juridisk fakultet, Makerere universitet:

Dear all,
The Refugee Law Project of the Faculty of Law, Makerere has been following up Luzau's case. They actually managed to obtain a letter from the OPM (Office of the Prime Minister, who wrote the letter of revocation giving him 90 days), in which the office of the OPM requested immigration at Entebbe to release Luzau as his grace period had not lapsed yet, but the immigration guys would not honour this letter. Today, the RLP lawyer has been following up the case with the Commisssioner for Immigration to see if he can prevail over his men at Entebbe to release Luzau. He's also looking into the legal issues to challenge the legality of the initial revocation.
Will keep you posted.
